Business Users


To login with a business id simply append this to your username with the “#” in-between (i.e username#businessid (e.g kevin#southfreo)


You can now use the provider under AUS ISP - Telstra CustData which will report line usage from the Telstra Customer Data online system.

Problems Getting Data Usage (Telstra Postpay)

In order for Quota to access your Data, you must register on the Telstra website via this link.

Receiving message “Your Telstra account is currently not summarizing your usage data..”. This refers to your Data Usage page is not setup correctly, Login to the Telstra site and access the “Data Usage” page , You should see a summary graph and line showing % used.

If you don’t  see this line you account, you should use the newer “Telstra Mobile Usage” provider and ensure this page is working correctly (See above).

Telstra Postpay and Billing provider

Ensure you can login and can access usage data prior to setting up these providers in Quota. Check “Calls yet to be billed” is showing your mobiles and home numbers.

You must setup a Credit limit in order for Quota to show a progress bar.

You can use the “Telstra Billing” provider if you only want to see Billing information, Data usage will not be queried or returned.

Telstra Postpay

To see data usage you must register your mobile with Telstra Mobile Data usage website.

Please ensure you have correctly registered you mobile and can see you usage on this page before setting up Quota. Enter your mobile as 04123456789, you must register with a confirmation SMS from the Telstra site, until this is setup Quota won’t show data usage.

If you can’t an amount next to “Charges”, login to you account online and choose from the left hand menu “Online Billing” then “View recent activity” this will show you all recent charges for your mobiles, Quota can only display information when it’s available on this page.

What do the different providers do?

Telstra iPad 3G           - Displays Data usage over 3G for iPad Micro SIM
Telstra Bigpond 3G    - Displays Data usage over 3G from Mobile Bigpond site
Telstra Mobile Usage - Displays Data usage from new page (See below)
Telstra Billing             - Only retrieves billing information, data usage is not retrieved.
Telstra Postpay          - Combines “Telstra Mobile Usage” and Telstra Billing
Telstra Prepay            - Displays Prepay mobile usage
Telstra CustData (ISP) - Displays usage from Telstra CustData reporting system
 
 The recommended (and fastest way) to retrieve usage is to setup Telstra Mobile Usage (Data) and Telstra Billing (unbilled call amount)

Telstra iPad 3G

This provider allows access to Micro SIM billing page for PREPAY accounts                                                                                 http://myprepaid.telstra.com.au/ipad

Note: This provider/page only works over 3G (Not Wifi) and only for Telstra micro sim, try clicking the Provider Link in settings, if you receive “Forbidden” or a message stating “this is only available to prepay customers” you are not using 3G/Micro SIM for access.

This provider only requires “Data Limit” to be setup using the settings screen, authentication is automatic using your IP address over Telstra’s 3G connection.

Quota will add all usage together and subtract this from Data limit to display usage. Use the extra panel to see the actual usage page from Telstra.

Telstra Prepay

This provider allows access to the Telstra prepaid plus usage pages located :

Ensure you mobile is registered and using the link above you can see your mobile and clicking “Manage” shows your usage details (Calls and Data packs)

To set up this provider in Quota, Enter you username/password and last credit recharge, leave mobile blank to be prompted for all available mobiles. Quota will “sum” all browse packs and display as “Data remaining” Use settings to enter a “Data limit” and last credit recharge in order for the graphs to display properly.
